When The BBC’s DIY SOS team returned to Manchester’s Veterans’ Village to finish a renovation it began last year The Directors of Pemberton Plumbing Heating & Electrical Services Craige Dean and Mike Rutter were delighted to be able to Help and supplied and fitted a full Central Heating System pro bono.

The team of volunteers had just ten days to transform the homes onto the veterans’ street into a large three bedroom house which will become home to a 36 year-old-amputee , single Dad of 3 kids under-6, who had his foot blown off by an IED in Iraq during patrols. He is a decorated soldier, mentioned in dispatches for his bravery.
